As the great grand-daughter of a Glasgow fiddle maker, music was a part of Jan’s life from the day she was born.
A child of the sixties (now wishing she had been a teenager of the sixties) Jan played and sang all types of music ranging from traditional Scottish and folk to jazz, pop, rock and classical.
Her father felt that playing Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik to her every night when she was an infant would expand her musical soul…maybe it did??!

Northern Irish with a bit of Scots from his grandparents, Phil was also a child of the sixties and more importantly for him, a teenage band member of the seventies playing bass guitar (which he swapped his train set for!) and 6/12 string guitars. Although never “making it big” the band were always in great demand for weddings and dinner dances and often supported big name local artists.
Phil was, and is, into all types of melodic music - country, folk, pop and traditional Irish and Scottish music.
